About Exota The firm Exota was founded in 1981 when Ann & George started selling vintage clothing at the Noordermarkt in Amsterdam. The shop Exota opened its doors for the first time in 1983 selling 'first class second hand' but soon Ann & George started to make their own vintage orientated knitwear. The brand is called 'King Louie'. Now almost 30 years later there are two Exota shops, a King Louie webshop and King Louie is sold internationally.
